Queensland Government announces new grants for first home owners and small business.
Small businesses
Queensland small businesses impacted by COVID-19 will be able to access a new $100 million funding round. Grants of up to $10,000 will be made available from next month to help small businesses survive and grow their staffing levels.
Small businesses, including those who had expressed interest in the first round of grants, are encourage to apply from 1 July.

If you are successful from round 1 of this program, you cannot apply for funding under round 2.
Home Building Grant
To support the building market for new homes valued at less than $750,000:
- first home owners grant – the $15,000 first home owner grants program for any Queensland first home buyers purchasing a new home.
- regional home building boost – to provide a $5,000 grant for buyers of a new home (as principal place of residence) in a regional location (in addition to the $15,000 for first home owners).
When combined with the Federal Government's $25,000 grant, people building new homes in regional Queensland could now be eligible for up to $45,000 in government money towards the cost.
